Here is our eighth interview for the In Session series, a space where we get to know more about Wavezoo DJs.
This time we talked to Lady Ree, an up and coming DJ that is all about the vibe. She loves to experiment with different styles of music.
1. How did you start DJing? Tell us about your origins
It all started when I was really bored one day. I made a mix for someone’s stream, and the listeners loved it. When people kept asking me to create more of these, I thought, “why not?” Music has always been a big part of my life and I learned to play piano when I was 5 years old.
2. Who would you say are your influences?
One of my biggest influences is The Prodigy, but I think it’s important to be open-minded and take from all different types of music.
3. What do you think about the future of DJing? Where we are headed?
I’ve heard about attempts to replace live DJs with artificial intelligence. But it seems to me that DJs are not going anywhere anytime soon. Nothing compares to a live performance and the energy that is transferred from DJ to the crowd.
4. What can people expect from your shows?
I provide a high-energy party experience. I can play many different genres of music and have a vast library to choose from. You’ll always have great music to keep your guests entertained.

5. What would be your ideal party? Let people know what would be your top tracks
The perfect party has to have great music which should be danceable and fun. It also needs to have a good vibe. This is the feeling that people get when they are in a room with other people who are happy, having a good time, and enjoying themselves.
Some of my favorite songs for the perfect party would be:
- Paul Parsons – Spread Love.
- Vital Techniques – Losing Control.
- Tom Bull – Hey Y’all.
6. Help other DJs to level up, give the community a tip that will improve other DJs performance
Music is the most important part of a performance, but also make sure to set up your camera and light properly, and don’t forget to interact with your viewers.
